The (Un)Retreat in Spain
When people travel across the world to be with you, every detail matters.
You've built an extraordinary community. I make sure your retreat experience fits it like a glove—crafted with care and seamlessly executed.
You want to give your community an experience that reflects the unique brilliance of your work together.
Exclusive.
Culturally alive.
Un-generic.
But planning a high-end retreat abroad means:
- venues you can’t vet in person
- a language you may not speak
- logistics that could eat weeks of your time.
And what if it turns out beautifully…bland?
Or it falls short of your expectations?
That’s what I’m here for.
The (Un)Retreat Philosophy
A peaceful, remote location gives you rest and escape.
But it’s generic.
There’s another kind of retreat. One that adds friction rather than removes it—the good kind of friction. The kind that holds a mirror up and makes you ask why you do things the way you do.
That’s what happens when you immerse a group in a culture genuinely different from their own. At an (un)retreat in Spain, Spanish culture doesn’t just provide a backdrop — it’s always the starring role. Always the co-host.
I’m Evelyn – a classical soprano and U.S. expat who has spent the last 10 years becoming part of the fabric of Spanish culture.
You're here for your people. Not to figure out ground transportation in a foreign country.
Planning everything on your own:
- Venues and experiences that look great online but miss the mark IRL
- Complex, time-consuming logistics that prevent you from being fully present for your people
- Missing out on local, hidden gems because you didn't know where to look
Working with a local partner who understands you AND Spain:
- Every venue and experience vetted in person, matched to your brand, participants, and vision
- Every detail handled before you arrive so you can just show up and be present for your people
- Local access and insider knowledge that can't be Googled.
The Process
1
We get clear.
We define what this experience should feel like for you, your brand, and the people you’re bringing. Goals, flow, aesthetics, group size, budget, and participant pricing strategy.
2
I design it.
I research, scout locally, create it, and coordinate it: accommodations, meeting spaces, restaurants, cultural experiences, local guides, ground transportation, and a complete multi-day itinerary, with edits as necessary.
3
You show up.
You bring your people and enjoy a seamless experience, with on-call support from me throughout your (un)retreat via phone or text. For those who want me there in person, on-site presence is available as an add-on.
